THE POTTER’S WHEEL

Wheel

Raw and unseasoned

like a lump of clay

thrown at the spinning

wheel head,

I struggle .

Clueless and shapeless

the giddying speed

the twists and twirls

the pressure and pain

Until

I submit.

Then

kneaded

trimmed

shaped

I discover

the purpose

at the Hands

of my Potter.
