A TRAVELOGUE OF A SOLITARY TRAVELLER

Its a solitary travel

across unknown worlds

embarked thus

to be ended so.

Belted to my seat

someone at the cockpit

uncertainty and trepidation

hangs in the air

ever subject to the vicissitudes of nature.

My transient relationships

with fellow passengers

some nice , some irksome

often interrupted by turbulence.

My emotions swing

with the changing landscape

but my body begins to ache

with passing time

and I long for the end.

Death is but a transit

I wait at

rejuvenated

before my next solitary travel.

Solitary
